How to Apply Beard Oil

- Apply after washing. The best time to use beard oil is right after a shower, when your pores are open and your beard is clean. Pat your beard dry with a towel — don't rub.
- Use the right amount. A few drops go a long way. Start with 3–5 drops for shorter beards, or up to 10 drops for longer, fuller beards.
- Warm it in your palms. Rub the oil between your hands first to warm it up — this helps it absorb more evenly.
- Work it in from the skin out. Massage the oil into the skin beneath your beard first, then work it through the beard hair from root to tip.
- Comb or brush through. Use a beard comb or boar bristle brush to distribute the oil evenly and style as desired.
How Often Should You Use It?
For most guys, once a day is ideal — typically in the morning after your shower. If you live in a dry climate or your beard is particularly coarse, you might benefit from a second application at night before bed.
